I cannot fault the service provided by the team at Bristol Caravans. We met them at the NEC show demonstrating the Amplo levelling system. We’d been contemplating having a system fitted for some time and were so impressed with their demonstration and sales pitch that we decided to pay a deposit that day.
Eliot phoned the following Monday (as promised) to arrange fitting for a week later.
I dropped the van off to them and as it’s a 2 day fit, they gave me a lift to the station so I could get home. I returned the following day where Eliot gave me a full and comprehensive demonstration of the system fitted to my van. They even accommodated my request to have the control unit fitted inside a cupboard.
From first speaking to Bristol Caravans, to collecting the van with the system fully installed was only 11 days, so a very impressive turn around.
At the time of writing, I’ve only been able to try the system out on the driveway. Initial thoughts are that it’s extremely simple to use, with one button to lower the rams and level the van, and one button to raise them again. The levelling process takes no more than 2 minutes. The added security on the system is that it is PIN protected. I’m not sure if other systems have this feature, but it appealed to us as we can lower the rams and lock the system to make it much harder to steal the van.
In summary, I would definitely recommend Bristol Caravans and would not hesitate to use them again. I would also recommend the Amplo levelling system.
