Price: How much to install a motorhome levelling system?

At the time of writing you can pay from £5,695 up to £12,000 for a hydraulic levelling system, depending on system and the Make/Model of motorhome. Imagine the difference between and Fiat Ducato based campervan and a Mega top of the range Morello motorhome. To obtain a specific price book in for a free assessment. That said here are two motorhome levelling systems that are excellent performers, at entry level price:
MA-VE
Amplo
Installation time: Fastest Levelling System
From our experience, the fastest motorhome levelling system to fit is Amplo. If all goes well, no surprises, this install can be completed in one day. That said, we like the workshop team to do a great job, so we allow 2 days, and suggest customer stay either on our late Pitch hard standing free of charge or book onto our CL Touring Pitches at the standard rate.
Best for Ford Based Motorhome
If your motorhome or campervan is based on a Ford chassis (Ford base vehicle), consider a MA-VE or Amplo self levelling systems. The popular motorhome chassis suppliers were not able to keep up with demand post Covid. Ford stepped up, and is a fast growing platform for new motorhomes. MA-VE were first levelling system manufacturer to research, design and implement a Ford system, Amplo were a close second. The brackets are neat and do not require chassis drilling on the front.
Quietest system
The systems with single hydraulic pumps are generally quiet, and of these the Amplo system seems to consistently be the quietest.
Systems approved by vehicle manufacturers

The levelling system manufacturer who has obtained the most approvals by base vehicle manufacturers (Fiat, VW, Mercedes, etc, etc) is AL-KO, who also own E&P Hydraulics. As a large company, AL-KO have a defined process for manufacturer approval. Sometimes this means that their products are not as fast to market, but you can be assured that when they do arrive they are fully designed, signed off and approved.
If you seek a product that is compliant and approved by both AL-KO chassis system and the chassis/cab manufacturer, AL-KO should be your choice. When you consider the investment value, when purchasing a new motorhome or campervan, “approval” is a sensible consideration.
Size of European network
Remember the saying “plan for the worst, hope for the best” which means to be optimistic whilst preparing for all eventualities. Well lets apply it to motorhome levelling systems. Nobody wants to think about “issues” whilst on holiday. But, like all mechanical systems, a component can fail, software can have a wobble. If this happens, wouldn’t it be nice to know you have a network of specialists nearby.
With that in mind, who has the largest network of installers across Europe? The answer is AL-KO, so either HY4 or E&P levelling will give you that peace of mind.
Another way to consider this challenge is how a levelling manufacturer responds when a customer has an issue. Here is a YouTube video we made when a customer had a problem in Europe and the manufacturer stepped up and really helped:
